Don't miss this opportunity to come hear the music of Bach while enjoying a delicious build-your-own box lunch from South Jersey Subs.

Between Heaven and Earth

For many of us we feel the pull between the secular and the sacred in our lives. It was no different for composers living during the Baroque period. Many composers worked for churches and other sacred institutions, but a change of employer, demands of a publisher, personal inspiration, or a commission could lead them to write for the secular audience as well. For many, this caused a good deal of conflict; for us, however, it has left behind a treasure trove of incredible repertoire! Come revel in the beauty of music written ‘between heaven and earth’ with stunning performances by soprano Amy Maples and our very own Parish House Baroque musicians. You won’t want to miss this memorable, unique program!
